Just Hanging Out

Recently Oliver has really chunked up. Here you can see his enormous belly after breakfast. He usually chugs 12 oz. of milk, has a serving of cereal, and 1/2 to a whole jar of baby food! 

Memorial Day Fun

This weekend we hit the beach twice. We were so happy to discover that Oliver loves the beach. He was so darn cute in his little swim trunks!

We love the tent we bought for Oliver. He has had fun in it the past few days and avoided the harsh sun. This afternoon he took his girlfriend Charlotte on a date in his new tent. 

Tracie's Graduation Party

Last weekend Tracie Graduated from UNCW with her Masters of Social Work Degree. Since I have had the pleasure of working with her I can say she is an amazing social worker. 

To celebrate her and her accomplishment we threw her a cocktail party. 

I think this picture looks like it belongs in a food magazine. Shelley helped me with all the food and we had fun making these really pretty skewers. They look like summer to me.

The pictures from this post and the one after are from Mother's Day weekend in Concord. We went to spend time with my family and celebrate my mom on her special day. It was so touching to watch how much joy my family got from being with Oliver. He is loved so well.

Young Life End of the Year Luau

As you can tell from all our posts we have had a very fun and busy weekend. Here we are at the Young Life End of the Year Party. It was a great time to celebrate the ministry and our wonderful leaders. 

Here are the Hoggard YL leaders-Sam, Meagan, Carrie and Jason. Kayla couldn't make the party and we missed her! We are the "team family" for Hoggard which means we have them over for dinner, pray for them and in general support them. We love our team! Go Vikings! 

Annie and her hubby Brandon joined YL Committee and they have been super helpful. Annie is pregnant with a BOY (Levi John- LOVE the name) who is due this September. We are SO EXCITED for them. Oliver is pumped to have another little buddy.

Cousins

Today we had a brief visit with Andrew's cousin Mary Elizabeth and her family. Here are her adorable kids Sara and James. Oliver is blessed in the family department!

Wedding Shower for Carrie & Noah

Our friends Carrie and Noah are getting married this summer. They are both AMAZING Young Life leaders here in Wilmington. Liz and I threw a shower for them to celebrate this exciting time. Don't you just love how carrie is in this apron? Congrats!

OT had his first sleep-over with his buddy Holt. Katie and Jason are spending the weekend with us while they attend a wedding in town. This morning we went to breakfast and then picked strawberries. We ran into the Carpenters in the field and took these pics.
