So he said it...finally. Andrew and I were changing is hot-steaming-mess of a diaper when he looked right at us and said "Da-Da". We both looked at each other in silence and smiled. Not sure if we'll hear it again anytime soon but it was a big moment in our little family :)

We've been super busy. Andrew's family has been in town for the past week. They have had so much fun playing with Oliver. It is fun to see him get so much love and attention.

On Friday we headed to Harmony, NC for Carrie & Noah's wedding. Liz and I had the honor of directing the wedding and because of that we didn't get any pictures. Everything turned out magical, like a Martha Stewart Weddings magazine spread. Carrie's vision and planning for the wedding paid off big time. They are a very special couple to our family. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Furr. After the wedding we went to visit my family in Concord which was lots of fun but too short.

Annie's Baby Shower

This weekend we showered Annie with good wishes for Baby Levi. Annie and Brandon are going to be amazing parents. We just can't wait to meet their little guy!

How funny is this? Looks just like Eli is side swipping Ollie. Eli's mom, Becca was my college roomie. It was great for our little guys to finally meet. They were born less than 2 months apart.

I'm too lazy to rotate this and I don't know how. The boys played really well together.

Sam & Shaunna's Wedding in Asheville

For the Fourth of July we headed out to the Shindig on the Green in downtown Asheville. We didn't have a blanket with us so we used old beer can boxes; OT didn't mind!

My mom, sweet lady that she is, came to babysit Oliver for the wedding weekend. I think Oliver had a great time enjoying all the attention he got.
