Cousin Will Turns 2

Oliver's cousin Will celebrated his 2nd birthday today. They (along with Will's new baby brother Wyatt) are going to be quite a handful next summer. I think it is going to be rowdy round the Lanier household!

Don't you just love this birthday cake that his mom made for him? His current obsession is trucks. I think it is so creative. I hope Oliver isn't pining for something that clever for his birthday...

We really enjoyed being at his birthday party. It was hard to get a picture of him because we was in constant motion. He was much more interested in trucks than food...ahh the life of a 2 year old!

So the other day we noticed Oliver's bare butt on our video monitor and naturally were curious about where the diaper went...

I Heart Triples Week @ Teeter

OK so I almost wet my pants this afternoon. Guess how much all these items cost?Are you sitting down? Get this, they PAID ME 6 cents. Yes, you read correctly, Harris Teeter paid me 6 pennies to take this food off their hands!! WOW- I am so pumped right now.

Big shout out to Liz Carpenter who taught me all I know about coupons. Liz, my friend, you made this magic moment happen :)

Playtime

Here you can see the blockade we have made to keep the little man corralled. We had to remove the rug because he was always spitting up on it. The hard floor hasn't been kind to his head so we made him a fluffy palette. I feel certain next week we'll have a new set-up but, this works for today :)

Notice how the diaper is torn apart...He-Man (oh, I mean Oliver) did that the other day...just ripped it right off!

New Trick

Oliver has recently added a surprised face to his repertoire of cuteness. Clearly, we are smitten with the little guy. Hope it makes you smile.

Engagement Party

On Saturday we drove to Southern Pines to celebrate Andrew's Cousin Sarah's engagement. It was a great time to be with family. The happy couple are planning their wedding for next fall. We're excited for them!

Oliver made fast friends with Andrew's cousin Tad.
