Today we went to our follow-up with our pediatrician, Dr. Jackson, who is fantastic. Oliver was in great spirits and acted similar to his 18 month appointment, which is to say he was a little wild man. Dr. Jackson was really encouraging and set us up for referrals to the pediatric ophthalmologist and to get a kidney ultrasound. Part of managing Tuberous Sclerosis Complex is to have routine kidney, eye and brain checks to make sure benign tumors don't grow.
After our appointment we took Oliver to the park so he could run and play outside. As you can see he had a great time. Needless to say we have really savored this very "normal" day.
He wants some of mom's coffee...hence the face :)
So thankful to see our little guy running, hair blowing in the breeze- it was a beautiful sight.
