One week from today we will be in Boston! One of the ways God has provided for us is through our friend Trista. She used to live in Boston and has offered to accompany us on our trip to be our tour guide, nanny, packing advisor, etc. Can you believe that? Having her with us relieves so much stress and allows us to focus on Oliver. I wish I had a picture of Trista in an angel costume because, she might sprout some wings soon. The closest I could get to an angel was her martian from last Halloween! Anyone who takes their Halloween costume this seriously is a fast friend of mine! Trista...we love ya and thanks in advance for being awesome!
Oliver update: This week has been really good. This weekend has been a fun, relaxing family time...the amazing weather was a bonus. We've noticed 1-2 mini seizures (5-10 seconds long) each day or so. We've also noticed Oliver being more calm and staring off a bit more (but, not in the same way as when he has a seizure). Yesterday, during Riverfest, he was so easy/calm we weren't sure where our crazy wild thing went :) As with everything, it is hard to tell what is "normal" and what might be related to TSC. We plan to discuss all this with Dr. Thiele in Boston. In the meantime we have visits with family on both sides planned this week so, that will keep us busy!

How wonderful to have extra support with you! What a godsend. Truly.
Congrats on the seizures slowing down. It's such a relief...and sometimes almost hard to breathe and focus on...waiting for the ugly seizure monster to rear his head again. Enjoy those blessings as they come. They are priceless!
