On Thursday before we (finally) got to leave the hospital, Oliver's buddy, Samuel dropped by for a visit. The two of them had a blast in the playroom. They also enjoyed "nack" in the hospital crib together. I'm so glad Oliver already has friends and gets excited to be with them!
If you're wondering what is up with Oliver's hair...it is from all the chemicals we had to use to take off the glue from the electrodes. I think his hair is back to normal after days of working out that glue.
Oliver has continued to have seizures after leaving the hospital. The good news is they seem a bit shorter but, we are still praying for a seizure free little boy. We'll start the new medication in about one week. We have to taper down one drug before we layer on another one. Thank you for your prayers- we need them :)
Here are my buddies, and co-hostesses of our 5th annual Ornament Exchange party. I was so happy I didn't have to miss it this year due to our surprise hospital stay. Samuel's mom, Grace, made all the food I was supposed to make which was a great gift that I'm really thankful for! It was nice to take a break from all the medical shenanigans and focus on having fun with my sweet friends.
