Seizure!

Oliver had a seizure tonight! Thank you Lord! It was caught on the EEG and video. It wasn't as long as the others, but it is a huge relief!!!! We are hoping to catch maybe one more before the morning when the dr. reviews the info.

He did vomit once and that created a real mess. It took an army to get it all clean. We think we overdid the milk and apple juice while they tried to attach the EEG. We'll know for next time :)

Oliver is sleeping peacefully now and we are hoping for some rest after this eventful day. He was such a trooper and we continue to rejoice in his friendly, exuberant demeanor.

A few friends have asked me about the "no-nos" I keep mentioning, Pedi-Wrap is their brand name. In the photo in the last post it is the blue cast like thing you see on Oliver's left arm. We use 2 of them to keep his arms straight so he can't rip of his hat. They are similar to casts, so you can appreciate how uncomfortable they are...and how well they work!

We hope to know more from our doctor sometime tomorrow morning. We'll keep you updated.
