Rest

I am in the room with Oliver tonight. Andrew and his dad are at a hotel getting some sleep. Duke is state of the art with their EEG equipment but, the bed in this room is TINY! At least there is a bed instead of a recliner...right? Oliver is sleeping (finally) after sleeping for only 45 minutes today. I am hoping tonight will be quiet but, our previous experiences have taught us that they usually aren't. It is easy for him to wake up in the middle of the night, and in an instant, try to rip of the EEG. This time the EEG is a mask instead of a hat. I'll post a pic of that tomorrow. Our hope is we will only have one more night and they will get what they need. Tonight he did have a classic spasm but of course the EEG recording machine wasn't on...darn! Once again please pray Oliver will have seizures so they can get some conclusive information. I am sure I am rambling. Sorry- I am so tired yet very thankful to be settled and one step closer to getting Oliver better.

I will update tomorrow as I can. I suspect it will be a busy day of wrestling our sweet little monkey away from the EEG cords :) Good night!
