Whimpers

Overnight Oliver's EEG head wrap came off. Here is what we woke up to in this morning. 

This is one of the 15 places that wires come out of his brain. We have been assured that the wrap doesn't protect him from infection, so although it looks alarming, it is not cause for concern. He will come "unwrapped" from time to time, as he is a wiggle worm and the neurosurgeon wants everything loose around his head for the swelling. 

So far Oliver has continued to sleep. He has had some applesauce, juice and ice chips. He still has only said one word. His whimpers of pain are heartbreaking to hear. We'd love to hear him speak more and be rowdy. We can't believe we are saying that :)
