Country Living

Here are some snapshots of our Thanksgiving Holiday. My niece Haley is learning to drive (not on the road of course!) We all learned how to drive this way. When you have lots of land and lots of driveway it sure helps you practice (with adult supervision of course!)

My grandfather built this smoke pit for the holiday meat. The turkey he cooked was amazing. Loads of people bring their meat over to cook all day and sometimes a full 24 hours. It is delicious stuff.

I love to tell stories about growing up in Concord. One of the things I often mention is the tractor trailer at my dad's house. Well, here it is. It is true, he actually has a tractor trailer for storage :) You can't do this kind of stuff in the city!
