Hallelujah, Good News!

We have three (yes three) good things to share!!! We don't know about you, but after that last post we needed something positive, right?

An out-take from the Christmas card pics. This one didn't go as planned. I look like a hyperactive cheerleader and Oliver looks like his arms are coming out of their sockets.

ONE

Oliver's IEP meeting went very well. We are thankful! We plan to come back in February or March to reassess the plan and see if we need to add or modify anything. He is getting a significant amount of services, which will hopefully help him continue to develop. He will stay at the current preschool and continue to receive speech, occupational and physical therapy. He is getting an increase in the amount of speech therapy each week. Overall, we feel really good about the plan and look forward to seeing Oliver's improvement and growth in 2012.

TWO

Another fun thing is we have gotten our first round of logos back for our real estate re-branding/name change. We are changing the name of Scout Properties (our property management company) and doing an overhaul on our marketing (or lack thereof). We can't wait to show you the final product! 

I get really geeky about graphic design. I waited until after the IEP was over to open the email and look at the designs. It was kind of like a Christmas present for me (how dorky is that?). We were delighted to see the amazing work of the designers at Sage Island.

THREE

We are going on a date night tonight! After the last week we are grateful for time to be together and process everything. Now I am off to finish preparations for Oliver's little birthday party at preschool tomorrow (he turns three on Friday!).
