Lanier Landing

Oliver's blood work came back normal (Whoo-Hoo) so we have increased his seizure med slightly. We are hoping this increase will control the very mild, infrequent seizures we are still noticing. We are trying to avoid "kindling" which is the idea that the more seizures you have, the more intense they will become over time. We are praying this works so he'll be seizure free.

We were able to get an appointment with the pediatric neurologist from UNC for next week. This is an answer to prayer because when I initially called they said the wait was 5 weeks. It is important for him to see someone local since the Boston folks are only going to be seeing him on an annual basis. This saves us the time/money/trouble of driving to Chapel Hill 4 or more times a year! We'll have to change doctors again (sigh) but, long term it will be worth it.
