Out

This is Oliver in his postictal, deep sleep. Today Andrew was able to experience this very odd situation and shares my alarm. Oliver had a seizure at 9:20 and was asleep by 9:35 and is still out, (as of this post) an hour and a half later. How long will it go on? It is so odd to not be able to wake him up. If we put ice on his face he will move but, he will not wake up. It is really unsettling. Thursday feels like a long way off right now! I can't wait to meet with Dr. Mikati and figure out our next step!

The miracle of Oliver taking his meds has ended. It truly was miraculous but, now we are back to World Wrestling Federation. It feels like a war, two times a day. This morning, thank God Andrew was here, because I about lost it. It has to be one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had. The bottom line is I can get the med in his mouth (that is where the wrestling comes in) but, I can't make him swallow it. Just can't. After MUCH struggle the meds were in him. The doseage wasn't clear to me but, it will have to do for today. I don't have to deal with it again until 7pm tonight! At least there is a 12 hour break between each battle :)

Please continue to pray for us! As always, thank you for all your love and support- it is a treasure to us!
