After a fairly smooth morning we are in our room! Thank you, Lord. The room is rather spacious and they have a great parent snack area. I know, I know, it isn't a hotel but, after spending the night in over 4 hospitals in 9 months, we are learning that those amenities make a big difference! The view of the city is spectacular! We've been in so many rooms with tiny windows, that feel so dark and dreary that this is a treat. The nurses and staff seem really great thus far. So far, so good.
As you can see Oliver has on his EEG hat and is resting. Sweet boy. So far we still have not seen any seizures. Oliver continues to talk and being very engaged which makes us very grateful! We're told we'll see Dr.Thiele this afternoon which we are highly anticipating. As far as I know the MRI is still on for Friday. I suppose they made a spot for us after all.
Thanks for your emails, encouragements and prayers. They mean a great deal to us! We'll keep you posted as we know more!

This post made me laugh. It is so true...you do come to appreciate certain hospitals and the "amenities" that they offer.
