Can I get a "Woof-Woof?"

A few days ago Oliver lost his glasses for the first time. You saw that coming, didn't you? He was in the backyard playing. One minute he had them on, the next he did not. At first I thought, "OK, they have to be in the backyard, this will be easy." You can laugh right now. What was I thinking? Fast forward 45 minutes later and still no glasses. I was praying wanting one of those supernatural "Aha, I found it!!!" moments. I sort of got one. In the middle of this on-going prayer, by God's grace, I thought of Tucker, my next door neighbor's dog. I knew that sweet dog could sniff out those glasses. So I ran over to my neighbor's house and had Tucker come right over. Sure enough he found them. Hooray doggie! Woof, woof! Where were they you want to know? They were, get this, stuck in the middle of a gardenia bush. Huh? I know, I know, what in the world? Anyway, I wouldn't have found them without the good Lord, a great neighbor and Tucker the cutest Cocker Spaniel.

In other news it looks like Oliver's case won't be presented at surgery conference until the week of June 20th. So we wait. We enjoy summer. We keep our plans and commitments to a minimum. We pray, we pray, we pray. It will come---- a date, a plan, a decision.

On Wednesday we went up on Oliver's meds. His seizures have increased and they are rather nasty. He has had as many as 13 head drops. In plain terms that is very, very bad for his brain. Please keep praying for healing for our little man. We'd love to one day, see our very last head drop!

In very happy, happy news we got to meet Lexi, my best friend's new baby girl. She is so precious! My BFF is Katie, we've known each other since preschool. We really "bonded" when I bit her so hard that our moms had to meet. I was sort of a wild thing when I was in preschool. Any 4 year old who insists on wearing princess dresses and bites until people bleed is going to be a challenge. Wonder where Oliver gets his "spirit" from?

The kids were really interested in the photos...
