View the trailer for this book. It oozes the fragrance of eternity.
Here I am with Ann Voskamp, the author of this book. She is the first person I've waited in line to see since “Barbie” at K-Mart when I was 6. The signing of my highlighted book didn't matter so much, I just wanted to look at her and make sure she was real. I needed to know the kind of Beauty she experiences was out there for all of us. All of us!
And it is, we only need eyes to see.

Treasured
By Scott Newport
What I love most is
Waking to the dew of
The grass upon my boots
What I love most is
Smelling the end of
The day upon
My shirt, holding
My child
What I love most is
Something I don’t see
Everyday or smell or
Touch
What I do love most is
The memories of those
Moments if only buried in
My dreams
Christi- Thanks so much for the comment. Ann was awesome. I couldn't believe she was the main speaker at the conference. She is just as lovely as you would expect. While she spoke there were women who were crying so much that snot bubbles appeared. It was an awesome night. Wish you could have joined me!
Loved hearing Ann and now reading about you meeting her. Ann's talk was one of the highlights of SS for sure. My eyes have been opened to the little opportunities for gratitude all around me.
Scottn- Thank you for your comments! They have been very special to me! I love your poem you posted. The last 2 lines really get me. Whew. Thanks for being a blessing! Do you have a blog? I'd love to send people your way!
