To Boston ASAP

This is from our lastest FB post...

Change of plans...leaving for Raleigh now to spend the night and catch a 5AM flight to Boston. After reviewing pictures of the incision, the Mass General team wants us to bring Oliver up there immediately. Although the local medical folks were not so concerned, the Boston specialists said this type of complication is not normal and cannot go untreated. Time is of the essence at this point, as they said if the tissue gets necrotic, Oliver could be in real trouble. At the very least, they will be reopening the incision and correctly positioning the VNS in Oliver's chest. Thank you for your prayers. This day has been unbelievably stressful for all of us. Even Oliver has been quite unhappy, as he finally understands what it means to be in the hospital.
