Annie and I were college roomies at UNCW. We work together now at Communities in Schools in downtown Wilmington. I only work one afternoon a week but, these are the kids I spend most of my time with. They are in a College Club and we took them on a field trip to UNCW yesterday. Maegan (a UNCW student and YL leader) gave them a great tour. It is SO FUN to watch these kids get excited about academic success and begin to get a vision for going to college. Annie and I just love them. If you ever want to do some volunteering we'd love to have you! We always need tutors-especially math & science.
