We visited my family in Concord for Thanksgiving. Oliver received birthday and Christmas gifts early. The standout gift was this race track toy. He squealed with delight for 30 minutes over that thing! Andrew liked it too :) The whole time we were wishing we had our video recorder instead of our camera because he was going wild for it. We also got a kick out of watching him respond to a Jack-In-The-Box my mom got for him.
As for medical updates the seizures continue and the length has increased to around 1-1.5 min. (up from 10-30 seconds). We are troubled by the new, longer seizures. We emailed our dr. about these longer seizures and he said "we are going to need to make some major changes in Oliver's medications." We meet with this doctor on Friday.
Today, as far as we know, we are so thankful that Oliver hasn't had a seizure! It seems a seizure free day happens every 7 days or so which, is always a wonderful surprise. There is so much to be thankful for this year. It is amazing how much has changed in our lives and how our perspective has changed. The simple things fill our hearts with more joy than ever. We look forward to celebrating the Christmas season with our little peanut.
Psalm 106:1
