2- When finally met with the doctor and he said a few things:
- The EEG didn't show significant findings of Infantile Spams (Thank you God!) He thinks it is still possible that they are IS but, if they are, they are mild. The background info on the EEG wasn't indicative of Infantile Spams, but Oliver is older than the usual diagnosis age, so that doesn't mean as much. So all in all it is really good news. It doesn't mean the issue is completely resolved, but we are super duper thankful that the Lord was so gracious in this matter.
- We will change the next medication we try because of these cluster type seizures. The EEG was helpful in determining this new treatment plan. The new drug we'll try (in a few weeks) helps with Infantile Spasms so time will tell how well that works.
3- Overall we feel relieved and positive about the future. We are going to continue to monitor Oliver's progress and watch carefully for any developmental delays or regression.
4- Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. Words feel inadequate to express the fullness in our hearts because of your great love for our son and our family.
I hope this made sense since we are beyond tired. If I think of more I'll add it tomorrow.

So glad yall are home and resting. thanks for all the updates and ways we can continue to pray. Love yall! ps love those pics of Oliver running wild!
I have a interblogging friend who has been on a journey like no other. You may want to check out her blog. Now, the reason that I am suggesting it is NOT because I think this is the direction your little Oliver is heading but because she & her little Trevy have gone through so much and she is a wealth of information in regards to meds, living with seizures, etc. You'll need to go back in her blog a bit but there is so much info from their journey. Plus, she's just lovely as her little man.

Wishing you all answers and relief from the seizure monster.
